- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare a 9x13 inch pan with nonstick spray and parchment paper.
- Melt ½ cup of unsalted butter over medium heat until golden brown, then cool slightly.
- In a bowl, whisk together 1 ½ cups flour, 1 teaspoon baking powder, and ½ teaspoon salt. Set aside.
- In a large bowl, combine melted butter and 1 cup light brown sugar until smooth. Add 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla, and orange zest.
