- Prep Baking Dish: Line a 9x13" baking dish with parchment paper, allowing it to overhang for easy removal.
- Crush Pretzels: Place 4 cups of pretzels in a zip-top bag and crush until you have about 3 cups of rough pieces for the mixture and 1 cup reserved for topping.
- Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large bowl, combine the crushed pretzels and 3 cups of Rice Krispies, stirring until evenly mixed.
- Make Peanut Butter Sauce: In a saucepan, combine corn syrup, peanut butter, and sugar over medium heat, stirring until smooth and glossy (3-5 minutes).
- Combine & Pack: Pour warm peanut butter mixture over dry ingredients and mix well. Transfer to the baking dish, spreading evenly.
- Melt Toppings: Melt chocolate and butterscotch chips using a double boiler or microwave until smooth (2-3 minutes).
- Top and Chill: Pour melted chocolate mixture over the packed cereal layer, spreading it out. Sprinkle reserved pretzels on top. Refrigerate for 30 minutes.
- Slice & Serve: Remove from dish using parchment, slice into 32 bars, and enjoy as a treat!
