For the Mashed Potatoes
  • 4 cups Mashed Potatoes Can use fresh or leftover potatoes.
For the Gravy
  • 2 cups Brown Gravy Use homemade or store-bought.
For the Cheese
  • 1 cup Shredded Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese Experiment with different cheeses.
Seasoning
  • 1 tsp Salt
  • 1 tsp Pepper

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease the baking dish.
  2. Arrange the meatballs evenly in the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Warm the brown gravy in a saucepan over medium heat.
  4. Spread the mashed potatoes over the layer of gravy and meatballs.
  5. Sprinkle the cheese over the mashed potatoes.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until bubbly and golden brown.
  7. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
