Step-by-Step Instructions for Overnight Pizza Dough
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine 3 cups of bread flour, 2 teaspoons of salt, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and 1 packet of active dry yeast. Whisk until uniform.
  2. In another bowl, measure 1 ¼ cups of warm water (110°F) and mix in 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir gently until oil is distributed.
  3. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir until a rough dough forms and let it rest for 5 minutes.
  4. Turn the dough onto a floured surface. Knead for 7-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  5. Shape the kneaded dough into a ball and place it in a greased bowl. Cover and refrigerate overnight for at least 8 hours.
  6. Remove the dough from the refrigerator 30 minutes before shaping and let it sit at room temperature.
  7. Preheat your oven to 500°F for at least 30 minutes.
  8. Lightly flour your work surface and divide the dough into two equal portions. Stretch into round shapes.
  9. Transfer the shaped dough to a pizza peel or baking tray. Add sauce, cheese, and toppings.
  10. Bake the prepared pizza for 10-12 minutes until the crust is golden brown and cheese is bubbling.
