Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare a baking dish by spreading some tomato sauce at the bottom.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine cooked lentils, cooked rice, sautéed onion, garlic powder, salt, pepper, and paprika. Mix well.
- Take a cabbage leaf, place a portion of the filling at the base, then roll it up and tuck in the sides.
- Place the rolled cabbage leaves seam side down in the baking dish.
- Pour remaining tomato sauce over the rolls and cover the baking dish with foil.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 minutes. Remove foil and bake for an additional 10 minutes.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving with fresh herbs on top.
