Step-by-Step Instructions
- Bring a large pot of water to a rolling boil over high heat. Add round noodles and cook according to the package instructions, usually around 4-6 minutes, until they reach an al dente texture. Stir occasionally to prevent sticking. Once cooked, drain the noodles in a colander.
- After draining, rinse the cooked noodles under cold running water for about 2–3 minutes. This stops the cooking process and cools them down perfectly.
- In a small bowl, combine gochujang, sugar, vinegar, sesame oil, and garlic. Whisk until smooth and adjust seasoning as needed.
- In a large serving bowl, place a generous portion of your chilled noodles as a base. Layer on your choice of fresh raw vegetables, and drizzle the homemade gochujang sauce over the top.
- Serve cold for the best flavor and texture, or refrigerate for up to 30 minutes before serving.
