  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon garlic minced
  • 1 teaspoon ginger minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes optional
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground beef, breadcrumbs, green onions, soy sauce, brown sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Mix until well combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the meatballs are cooked through and browned on the outside.
  5. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes. Sprinkle with sesame seeds before serving.
