- Mix ingredients: Combine warm water, instant yeast, and granulated sugar in a stand mixer bowl and let the yeast activate for about 5 minutes.
- Incorporate flour & cheese: Gradually add bread flour and shredded cheeses, mixing until a smooth dough forms.
- First rise: Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover, and allow it to rise for approximately 30 minutes until doubled in size.
- Shape the dough: Punch down the risen dough, divide into 4 portions, and shape each into a log.
- Prepare the topping: In a small bowl, mix garlic powder, grated Parmesan, oregano, and parsley, then sprinkle over the loaves.
- Second rise: Cover shaped loaves and let them rise for another hour until puffed up.
- Preheat oven: Set your oven to 375°F.
- Score & bake: Slash the tops of the loaves, optionally sprinkle extra cheese, and bake for 16-20 minutes until golden.
