Step-by-Step Instructions for Irish Pub Burger
- In a mixing bowl, combine the ground beef, Irish stout beer, Worcestershire sauce, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper. Mix gently for about 2-3 minutes.
- Divide the beef mixture into four portions and shape each into a ¾-inch thick patty with a slight indentation in the center. Set aside.
- Preheat your grill or skillet over medium-high heat to about 425°F (220°C). Test readiness with a sprinkle of water.
- Place the patties on the cooking surface, grill for 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 4-5 minutes.
- Add a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty in the last minute of cooking and cover to melt.
- Spread butter on the inside of each burger bun and toast them cut-side down for 2-3 minutes until golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing each patty on the bottom bun and adding your preferred toppings, then crown with the top bun.

Notes
Use high-fat ground beef (80/20) for juicy burgers. Opt for a stout beer with rich flavors.
