Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Chop bacon into small pieces and fry in a skillet over medium heat for about 5-7 minutes until crispy. Drain excess fat and stir in chopped kimchi, simmer for 5 minutes.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine ground chicken, gochujang, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix until combined and shape into patties about ¾ inch thick.
  3. Cook patties on a grill or skillet over medium-high heat for 5-6 minutes per side until cooked through (165°F).
  4. Slice burger buns, butter the cut sides, and toast on grill or skillet over medium heat for 2-3 minutes until golden brown.
  5. Assemble burgers by placing chicken patty on the bottom bun, topping with kimchi bacon jam and any additional toppings before adding the top bun.
  6. Serve the burgers warm with sweet potato fries or a light salad for a complete meal.
