Method
 

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt until well combined.
  3. Add the cold, cubed butter to the flour mixture.
  4. Using a pastry cutter or your fingers, work the butter into the flour until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  5. Make a well in the center and pour in the milk.
  6. Stir gently until just combined; do not overmix.
  7. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently 3-4 times until it comes together.
  8. Pat the dough into a 1-inch thick rectangle.
  9. Cut out biscuits using a round cutter or a glass.
  10. Place the biscuits on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, ensuring they are touching for soft edges.
  11. Bake for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  12. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
