Ingredients
  

For the Cookie Cups
  • 1 box Devil's Food Cake Mix or any chocolate cake mix
  • 2 large Eggs essential for binding
  • 1/2 cup Canola or Vegetable Oil melted butter can be used
  • a few drops Black Food Coloring optional
For the Buttercream Frosting
  • 1 cup Unsalted Butter or salted butter
  • 4 cups Powdered Sugar for sweetness
  • 2 teaspoons Vanilla Extract or almond extract
  • 1/4 teaspoon Salt balances sweetness
  • 3-6 tablespoons Milk any type works
  • a few drops Green Food Coloring for a witch's potion effect
For the Decorations
  • 1 cup Round Green Sprinkles
  • 1 cup Halloween Sprinkles
  • 1 cup Candy Eyeballs
  • 1 cup Pretzel Sticks for stir sticks

Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease three 12-count mini muffin pans.
  2. In a large bowl, mix Devil's Food Cake Mix, eggs, canola oil, and black food coloring until smooth.
  3. Scoop ½ tablespoon of dough into each muffin cup and bake for 8-10 minutes.
  4. Press a small spoon into the center of each cookie cup immediately after baking to create indentations.
  5. In a medium bowl, beat softened butter until creamy, then mix in powdered sugar, vanilla, and salt until fluffy.
  6. Slowly add milk until the desired frosting consistency is achieved, then mix in green food coloring.
  7. Pipe the green buttercream into each cookie cup and decorate with sprinkles, candy eyeballs, and pretzel sticks.
