  • 2 tablespoons Chopped Green Onion Can substitute with chives.
  • 1 large Egg White Try flaxseed meal mixed with water for a vegan alternative.
  • 3 tablespoons Cornstarch Swap in potato starch if needed.
  • 2 tablespoons Cooking Rice Wine Dry sherry can work or omit for non-alcoholic.

Toast
  • 12 slices White Bread Crusts trimmed; consider gluten-free if desired.
  • as needed Canola Oil Spray Use any neutral oil spray.

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine minced shrimp, chopped green onion, egg white, cornstarch, cooking rice wine, salt, and pepper. Mix until well incorporated.
  2. Trim the crusts off each slice of bread and cut into four equal squares.
  3. On a square of bread, place approximately 1 tablespoon of shrimp filling in the center, and top with another square. Press the edges to seal.
  4. Preheat the air fryer to 350°F (175°C) for 3-5 minutes. Spray both sides of each toast with oil and arrange in the basket.
  5. Cook for 5-6 minutes until golden brown and crispy. Serve warm.
