Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Press the extra-firm tofu for 15 minutes to eliminate moisture, then slice into cubes.
  2. Whisk together plant-based milk and soy sauce in a medium bowl to create a wet mixture.
  3. Mix all-purpose flour, breadcrumbs, minced garlic, fresh herbs, paprika, salt, and pepper in another bowl.
  4. Coat tofu cubes by dipping in the wet mixture then rolling in the dry mixture.
  5. Heat cooking oil in a skillet to 350°F (175°C) before frying the nuggets.
  6. Fry coated tofu nuggets in batches for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
  7. Drain fried nuggets on paper towels to remove excess oil.
  8. Serve hot with your choice of dipping sauces.
