Ingredients
  

  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley chopped (for garnish)

Method
 

  1. In a medium saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and olive oil together.
  2. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1-2 minutes until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
  3. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally.
  4. Gradually whisk in the grated Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce is smooth.
  5. Stir in the Italian seasoning, and season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. Remove from heat and let the sauce thicken for a few minutes before serving.
  7. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired.
