Ingredients

  • 1 pound lump crab meat
  • 1 cup cream cheese softened
  • 1/2 cup mayonnaise
  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/4 cup green onions finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • Cooking spray or olive oil for greasing

Method

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and lightly grease a baking sheet with cooking spray or olive oil.
  2. In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, mayonnaise, shredded cheddar cheese, green onions, Dijon mustard, Worcestershire sauce, Old Bay seasoning, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  3. Gently fold in the lump crab meat, being careful not to break up the crab too much.
  4. Using your hands, form the mixture into small balls, about 1 to 1.5 inches in diameter.
  5. Roll each ball in panko breadcrumbs until fully coated and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  6. Bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the crab bombs are golden brown and heated through.
  7. Remove from the oven and let cool for a few minutes before serving.
