Step-by-Step Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Open your refrigerated cinnamon roll dough and separate it into individual rolls. Flatten each roll into disks about ¼ inch thick, large enough to fit into your muffin tin.
- In a large mixing bowl, toss diced apples with brown sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and lemon juice. If using optional ingredients, add those now and mix thoroughly.
- Lightly grease a muffin tin. Press each dough disk into the bottom and sides of the cups, creating a well for the apple filling.
- Spoon the apple mixture into each dough-lined cup, leaving a bit of space at the top.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and bubbly. Keep an eye on them while baking.
- Let the cups cool for 5-10 minutes. Drizzle icing over the warm cups before serving.

Notes
Experiment with different apple varieties for unique tastes like a mix of Granny Smith and Honeycrisp. Remember to cool slightly before serving to allow the filling to set.
