Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a bowl, combine tamarind pulp with 1 cup of warm water and loosen the pulp.
  2. Push the tamarind mixture through a fine mesh strainer into a saucepan.
  3. Add another 4 cups of water, sugar, and minced ginger, bring to boil, then simmer for 30-35 minutes.
  4. Mix 1½ to 2 tablespoons of the concentrate with 1/3 cup of cold water, add ice cubes, and top with peanuts and coconut flakes.
