- 1 pound ground chicken
- 1 cup fresh spinach, chopped
- 1 cup shredded white cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 clove garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 4 hamburger buns
- Lettuce, tomato, and any desired condiments for serving
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the ground chicken, chopped spinach, white cheddar cheese, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and paprika. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into four equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add the chicken patties and cook for about 5-6 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the hamburger buns in a separate pan or under the broiler until golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty on each bun and topping with lettuce, tomato, and any desired condiments.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
Notes
- For added flavor, mix in some chopped fresh herbs like basil or parsley into the chicken mixture.
- Substitute the ground chicken with ground turkey or lean beef for a different taste.
