- 1 cup fresh pineapple chunks (or canned, drained)
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon shredded coconut (optional, for garnish)
- Maraschino cherries (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, coconut milk, fresh pineapple chunks, and vanilla extract.
- Blend on high speed until smooth and creamy, about 30-60 seconds.
- If the mixture is too thick, add a little more coconut milk to reach your desired consistency.
- Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
- If desired, sprinkle shredded coconut on top and add a maraschino cherry for garnish.
- Serve immediately with a straw or a spoon.
Notes
- For a tropical twist, add a splash of rum extract for a non-alcoholic piña colada flavor.
- You can substitute the fresh pineapple with frozen pineapple for a thicker milkshake.
