A delicious and hearty Loaded Baked Potato topped with tender steak, cheese, and all your favorite toppings.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 large russet potatoes
- 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup chopped green onions
- 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F.
- Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then poke several holes in each potato with a fork.
- Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
- Place them directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender.
- While the potatoes are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
- Add the olive oil and the steak pieces. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat.
- Once the potatoes are done, carefully remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
- Slice each potato open lengthwise and gently fluff the insides with a fork.
- Top each potato with an even portion of the cooked steak, followed by shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.
Notes
- For added flavor, try marinating the steak in your favorite steak sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
- You can substitute the steak with grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for a different twist.
