Description

A delicious and hearty Loaded Baked Potato topped with tender steak, cheese, and all your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 large russet potatoes
  • 1 pound sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized pieces
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped green onions
  • 1/2 cup cooked and crumbled bacon

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 400°F.
  2. Wash and scrub the potatoes thoroughly, then poke several holes in each potato with a fork.
  3. Rub the potatoes with olive oil and sprinkle with salt.
  4. Place them directly on the oven rack and bake for 45-60 minutes, or until tender.
  5. While the potatoes are baking, heat a skillet over medium-high heat.
  6. Add the olive oil and the steak pieces. Season with garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper.
  7. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the steak is browned and cooked to your desired doneness. Remove from heat.
  8. Once the potatoes are done, carefully remove them from the oven and let them cool for a few minutes.
  9. Slice each potato open lengthwise and gently fluff the insides with a fork.
  10. Top each potato with an even portion of the cooked steak, followed by shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, green onions, and crumbled bacon. Serve immediately.

Notes

  • For added flavor, try marinating the steak in your favorite steak sauce for 30 minutes before cooking.
  • You can substitute the steak with grilled chicken or sautéed mushrooms for a different twist.
