- 1 cup rolled oats
- 1/2 cup natural peanut butter
- 1/4 cup honey
- 1/4 cup chocolate protein powder
- 1/4 cup mini chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, peanut butter, honey, protein powder, mini chocolate chips, vanilla extract, and salt.
- Mix all the ingredients together until well combined. You may need to use your hands to fully incorporate the mixture.
- Once the mixture is fully combined, refrigerate it for about 30 minutes to make it easier to handle.
- After chilling, scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the mixture and roll them into balls.
- Place the protein balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once all the mixture is rolled into balls, refrigerate them for an additional 30 minutes to set.
- Store the protein balls in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to one week.
Notes
- For a nut-free version, substitute peanut butter with sunflower seed butter.
- Add 1/4 cup of shredded coconut or chopped nuts for extra texture and flavor.
