Description
Butterfinger Balls are a delicious no-bake treat made with creamy peanut butter, crushed Butterfinger candy bars, and coated in chocolate.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup creamy peanut butter
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 ½ cups crushed Butterfinger candy bars (about 4 regular-sized bars)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the peanut butter, powdered sugar, crushed Butterfinger bars, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
- Using your hands, roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Once all the balls are formed, freeze them for about 30 minutes to firm up.
- While the balls are chilling, melt the chocolate chips and coconut oil together in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth.
- Remove the balls from the freezer and dip each one into the melted chocolate, ensuring they are fully coated. Return them to the parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Once all the balls are coated, refrigerate them for at least 15 minutes to set the chocolate.
- Serve chilled or at room temperature.
Notes
- For a crunchier texture, try adding chopped nuts or additional crushed Butterfinger to the mixture before rolling into balls.
- To make a festive variation, drizzle melted white chocolate over the set chocolate for a decorative touch.
