Ingredients
Scale
- 2 to 3 pounds fully cooked ham (bone-in or boneless)
- 1 cup brown sugar, packed
- 1 cup cola (regular or diet)
- 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
Instructions
- Preheat your slow cooker to low heat.
- In a medium bowl, combine brown sugar, cola, Dijon mustard, ground cinnamon, ground cloves, and black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Place the ham in the slow cooker, cut side down if applicable. Pour the cola mixture over the ham, ensuring it is well coated.
- Cover and cook on low for 4 to 6 hours, basting the ham with the glaze every hour.
- Once heated through and caramelized, remove the ham from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
Notes
- For a spicier glaze, add a pinch of cayenne pepper or a tablespoon of hot sauce to the cola mixture.
- If you prefer a crispy exterior, place the sliced ham under the broiler for 5-7 minutes after cooking to caramelize the glaze further.
