Description

Bang Bang Chicken Skewers are a flavorful and easy-to-make dish perfect for grilling enthusiasts. These skewers are marinated in a delicious blend of spices and served with a spicy dipping sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper (optional, for heat)
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 tablespoons sweet chili sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sriracha (adjust to taste)
  • Wooden or metal skewers (if using wooden skewers, soak in water for 30 minutes)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  2. In a large bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.
  3. Add the chicken cubes and toss until evenly coated.
  4. Thread the chicken onto the skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. While the chicken is grilling, mix together the mayonnaise, sweet chili sauce, and sriracha in a small bowl.
  7. Once the chicken is done, remove from the grill and serve with the sauce for dipping.

Notes

  • For a twist, try marinating the chicken in the sauce for a few hours before grilling for extra flavor.
  • You can also substitute the chicken with shrimp or tofu for a different protein option.
