Description

Apple Oreo Truffles are a delicious no-bake treat made with crushed Oreo cookies, cream cheese, and dried apples, coated in white chocolate.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup crushed Oreo cookies
  • 1/2 cup cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup finely chopped dried apples
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 8 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the crushed Oreo cookies, softened cream cheese, chopped dried apples, cinnamon, and vanilla extract. Mix until well combined and a dough forms.
  2. Using your hands, roll the mixture into small balls, about 1 inch in diameter. Place the balls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  3. Freeze the balls for about 30 minutes or until firm.
  4. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped white chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  5. Dip each frozen truffle into the melted white chocolate, ensuring it is fully coated. Use a fork to lift it out and let any excess chocolate drip off.
  6. Return the coated truffles to the parchment-lined baking sheet. If desired, sprinkle a little crushed Oreo on top for decoration.
  7. Refrigerate the truffles for at least 15 minutes to set the chocolate before serving.

Notes

  • For a chocolate variation, use milk or dark chocolate instead of white chocolate for coating.
  • Add a pinch of nutmeg or ginger for a spiced flavor twist in the filling.
